GATHER Dinner Series - November
GATHER with Chef Albert
November 21st, 2024
Doors: 6:30pm
Dinner: 7:00pm
$65.00
This month's GATHER dinner series honors Native foods and foodways. We are collaborating with Albert Titman Jr., a local Native chef and community organizer, along with Maurice Montoya of Decolonize Market, to curate a powerful, unique community experience you will not want to miss!
This Native American Heritage Month, we will gather together in the beautiful dining space at Propagate Plants & Gatherings for a meal that celebrates and is composed of Native foods. Chef Albert and Maurice will share the meaning of the foods and drink to indigenous & native communities and guests will learn about some of the practices and ceremony related to native foods.
MENU
Native wild-caught salmon (Vegan Main Option: Three Sisters Stew)
Vegetables (asparagus, corn)
Wild rice
Salad
Dessert: Manoomin cake with wild berry
Non-alcoholic "Decolonized" Drinks by Maurice Montoya
A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Native Dad's Network to support their work to address, reduce, and ultimately eliminate the cycle of addiction, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, incarceration, suicide, poverty, homelessness, and mental illnesses, among other interpersonal harmful behaviors and societal stressors affecting the well-being of our native communities.
*All menu items will be gluten free and includes a vegan option. Menu details are subject to change based on ingredient availability. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies upon checkout.
*Please indicate any dietary needs at checkout. However, while we take cross-contamination very seriously, please note that foods are not made in an officially certified gluten free facility.
Guests who arrive after 7pm may not be guaranteed the full event experience, including any courses that may have already been served.
